BRING-A-BAG BACK
Do your church members have difficulty remembering what goods are needed
for special ministries? The "Bring-A-Bag Back" offering helps refresh their
memories and boosts donations dramatically.
Attach labels with specific needs to some brown paper bags (sometimes grocery
stores will donate these bags). Distribute the labeled bags at the worship
service, and print right on the bag the date to return the items. Instruct
the church or group members to return the filled bags by the prescribed date
and watch the donations roll in. The following are suggested items for the
labels.
EXAMPLE: NAPKINS, PAPER TOWELS, TOILET PAPER, TISSUE,
BAR SOAP, LAUNDRY DETERGENT, DISH SOAP, CLEANSER, AND OTHER PAPER GOODS/CLEANING
SUPPLIES.
EXAMPLE: YOUR GROUP COULD DECIDE TO CREATE A CLEANING
PRODUCTS BAG. FILL A BOX OR BAG FULL OF DIFFERENT CLEANING SUPPLIES, SPONGES,
PAPER TOWELS, AND THE LIKE.
EXAMPLE: YOUR GROUP COULD CHOOSE TO CREATE BAKING BAGS.
FILL A BOX OR A BAG FULL OF BAKING SUPPLIES LIKE FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING SODA,
BAKING POWDER, ETC.
