Get Help

At Love in the Name of Christ, we offer many ministries and services that will assist those in our community who seek the temporary support that life sometimes requires, including our food pantry, free counseling, stress and anger management, clothing ministry, medical equipment loaner program, financial education, community garden, nutritional education, parenting programs and more.

The Call Center

If you need support, please call the Call Center as a first step. Your confidential call will be received by a caring, trained volunteer. During the call, the volunteer will assist you in identifying your most crucial needs, complete an intake questionnaire, pray for you and your family, identify Love INC ministries that may be able to assist you with your identified needs, and offers good referrals for those needs outside of the Love INC scope.

Contact the Call Center by calling Love INC at 616-662-3300 and asking for “The Call Center” or by emailing info@loveinthenameofchrist.org.

Call Center hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 4:00pm

For those who reside in Grandville, our Grandville Call Center is open Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00am to noon and is located at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church on the corner of Ivanrest and Rivertown Parkway and can be reached by calling 616-662-3300 and asking for “The Grandville Call Center”. If you are looking for assistance outside of those times, you can always call and speak to someone in Hudsonville.

Life Skills Program

Many families in our area who are looking for support don’t always know where to turn. The Love INC Life Skills Program offers practical answers and helpful tools to assist you in the transition from struggling to thriving. In the Life Skills Program you will be provided with education and mentoring in a variety of areas including budgeting, nutrition, parenting and more as you learn and apply core skills, discovering your gifts to contribute to God’s kingdom.

For many families, the process of learning to live with a budget is generation changing. Families learn to break out of the cycle of paycheck-to-paycheck survival. Through provided resources of food, clothing and other household items, you are able to forgo the costly expenses of current day-to-day requirements, creating the breathing room to pay bills, build savings and ensure stability.
