LAYETTE MINISTRY COLLECTION PROJECT
One of LOVE's networking churches coordinates a "Layette Ministry"
to provide a new and yet very basic layette for mothers who are in need of these
necessities for their newborn.
The women who coordinate this ministry receive their referrals
from the LOVE I.N.C. office. At LOVE's request, the ladies then make a personal
visit or two and deliver gender appropriate newborn items to help the mother
and child. Collections of these kinds of NEW baby items will help this "Layette
Ministry" stay supplied to meet community needs as they arise.

- pacifiers
- onesies
- newborn sized sleepers and/or nighties
- receiving blankets
- crib blankets
- crib sheets
- baby sweaters
- bonnets
- socks
- booties
- small toys
- newborn disposable diapers
- baby books
- Bible story books for young children
Special packaging is not needed since the "Layette Ministry"
itself sorts items according to gender and places specific amounts together
for each home visit.
Please contact the LOVE office when you've completed a "Layette
Ministry" drive and you'll receive directions for the best place to deliver
your new items.
